Who We Are

Avila Herbals began by setting out to create a sustainable agriculture program that focuses on the the growth and production of nutraceuticals, and botanicals and homeopathics, which are the foundations of integrative medicine.

We grow many of our botanicals and herbs on our own farms, and are vertically aligned from seed (or sprout) to the final product on the shelf. We design our products to give our customers solutions that can purify the mind, body, and soul.

Our passion is for sustainable agriculture, organic techniques, and biodynamic farming practices. We work hard to exceed regulatory standards because we believe in great quality and growing products sustainably. See our main page, Avila Herbals for more information about our commitment to ethical sourcing of materials and our manufacturing processes.

Our farms are biodiverse environments where we cultivate a range of botanicals with great potential for life-improvement. Many of our products are grown here on-site, formulated in our R&D laboratories, and developed and manufactured using cGMP practices in our manufacturing facility.

Homeopathic Products

Avila Herbals is a FDA-registered manufacturer. We use methods rooted in the traditions of Homeopathy. We strictly adhere to the standards of the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States (HPUS).

We begin our manufacturing with raw the Nerium oleander leaves. The process continues with incubation of the raw materials in alcohol and then through succussion or attenuation. When these processes are completed, all homeopathic products are tested according to the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia as defined in the HPUS monograph.

We use gluten-free alcohol made from non-GMO corn. All incoming raw materials are inspected and quarantined until all identity and quality tests are complete. All suppliers are required to provide Certificates of Analysis. The water used in our manufacturing process comes from the Blue Ridge Mountains in the New River Valley of Virginia our mountain water is treated to FDA standards before use. Our water is also subjected to microbiological testing and all of our products are filter-sterilized before bottling.

Nutritional and Botanical Products

All Avila Herbals manufacturing facilities are regularly checked by regulatory authorities and through internal audits for compliance wtih current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) compliance and rigorous safety standards. Our manufacturing locations are regularly inspected to ensure that our quality procedures are being strictly followed.

Quality control takes place at every step in the production process. Our quality control procedures include Vendor qualification and testing of all raw materials (including the materials we grow on our farms) for identity and purity before they are incorporated into any or our products. Products are also tested at the finished product level to re-confirm that they meet our standards for safety and quality. Our products are tested for heavy metals, residual pesticides and herbicides, mycotoxins, and residual solvents, and microbial contamination.

Our research and development team continue to expand ingredients and formulations to increase bioavailability and bioactivity.
